- We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was excellent except I thought the receptionist on check while she was efficient could have been a bit friendly. All other staff were very friendly and efficient. I asked for a bright quiet room and that is what I got. We attended a reception with Lucan Gospel Choir and food and service was excellent. Thank you.
- Warm welcome on arrival. Only stayed 1 night. Very friendly, helpful staff in the bar - lovely food. Very comfortable room - nice &quiet.
- Delightful hotel to stay in. Really enjoyed our stop over.

The Guinness Trail - The History of Arthur Guinness and his family in Kildare
The legendary substance that is Guinness will soon be entering its 252nd year of production and its content is as legendary as its history. There is no doubt about the fact that Guinness is the dark stuff of legend and has captured the world’s tastebuds for generations. It is in fact, almost synonymous with Ireland itself.
Maxol garage, on the west side of the town. It is a marked Slí na Sláinte walk, 2.2 kilometres, about 30 minutes each way. The path is tarmacadamed all the way, wheelchair and pushchair accessible, but it is rather steep at the Leixlip end.
