We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Receptionist to join our front office team.

Springfield Hotel is a relaxed and friendly hotel, situated just 15km from Dublin city centre and amenities, providing excellent food in our lovely Season’s restaurant and Patrick’s Bar & Carvery. Guests return again and again to enjoy the genuine hospitality extended to all. That's precisely what you'll be on hand to provide in this role.
The successful applicants must be guest focused, efficient and friendly. Have at least one year’s experience in the same role. You must be a confident individual with a smart appearance and fluent English.

They must be able to deal with the demands of a busy reception desk, have an excellent phone manner, have the ability to multi task and work as part of a team. Be able and prepared to work shifts (Mornings, evenings including weekends-Saturday & Sunday).
Computer skills, and experience with hotsoft is a distinct advantage.

Duties will include:

  • Dealing with all check-ins and outs in a professional, efficient and courteous manner and to ensure that guests are helped with any information they may require during their stay.

  • Handling written enquiries promptly and efficiently - with the overall goal of maximising sales and room occupancy rates.

  • Ensuring all cash, billing and float procedures are adhered to at all times.

  • Answering all phone calls in a polite and timely manner and to assist all callers.

  • Ensuring all daily reports are completed before the appointed time. 

  • Being familiar with all of the day’s business including arrivals, departures and meeting room bookings.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2 to 3 years previous experience in a similar role

  • Excellent communication skills. Fluent written and spoken English.

  • Knowledge of a front office computer system and ECDL or higher a necessity.

  • The ability to work on their own initiative

  • Excellent customer service skills
